a recipe for a lip scrub as good as one from lush:

• 1 teaspoon of brown sugar (lush uses castor/caster sugar which is a superfine sugar, but i prefer to use a coarse brown sugar because i find it scrubs better)
• 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil or whatever essential oil you like
• you can add a drop of vanilla extract if you want some extra tastiness

to make this scrub, mix your sugar and oil in a small bowl until it’s a paste like consistency, put some of the mixture on your lips and using a soft bristle toothbrush, scrub away. when you’re done, lick it off (or wipe it off if you prefer, personally the first option sounds like the better of the two for me)! don’t overuse your lip scrub, keep it down to once or twice a week.
