My mom is in the emergency services field (she’s a paramedic) and I’ve just been around her work and emergency services personnel since I was little. It’s something I’ve grown up around. I also love the idea of waking up and going to work not knowing what the day will bring. That might be a negative for some people lol. It’s a huge adrenaline rush and it’s a rush I live for!

hi, i've been interested in becoming a police officer for a few years now but i was wondering if you knew, does having a history of mental health issues (depression and an eating disorder) pose a problem for joining the force, would they let someone join?

I know where I’m from, you do have to go through psychological evaluation. From what I’ve heard it’s fairly straightforward. Ask you mostly situational questions. However, if you suffered from depression, you might find the field of work could possess some potential triggers. I was told to just be honest during an interview. Tell them your past. I’m sure they’d be willing to work with you and sort things out. You shouldn’t let that be something that deters you from getting into the field and applying! :)

Yeah like the shirt colours you’re mentioning are pretty versatile which is nice. Grey and military green can go with any jean colour and still lol great :)

Probably the dark jeans. I’m just not a fan of light wash. You could pair it with either and it would look good because its neutral :)

Ok picture this scenario, all your clothes are dirty the only clothes you have available are: light washed skinny jeans & dark washed skinny jeans and military green basic plain shirt & grey basic plain shirt. Which jeans and shirt would you wear on a normal everyday-type day? and would you just wear the shirt normally to tuck it in or?

I’d wear the green shirt with the dark jeans! And I probably wouldn’t tuck it in. Sometimes I do the half tuck in on the side if the shirt is too long :)
